Robert M. Kaplan, MD.
Medical Director
Dr. Kaplan received his Medical degree from Northwestern University Medical School in 1979 and completed his residencies at the University of Illinois Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Hospital. Additionally, he has extensive research experience as both Principal-Investigator and Sub-Investigator in various medical research studies.
Richard Ansfield
Administrator
Richard has worked with Dr. Kaplan since 1991 in various health care businesses. Richard has also been involved in many ancillary businesses for over 20 years including home health, diagnostic imaging, and research. He is looking forward to working in the aesthetics business.
Beata Augustyn-Miazek
Aesthetician / Laser Technician
Beata loves to make her clients look and feel great! She specializes in facials and other body treatments such as microdermabrasion, chemical peels, as well as all of the various laser treatments offered here at ALA. She is committed to staying up-to-date on the latest aesthetic techniques by attending a variety of seminars and additional training in the field. Once she has performed a thorough skin analysis, she will confidently provide you with the best skin care regimen for your specific needs.
Abbey Rowley
Laser Technician
Abbey brings over 12 years of experience in the beauty industry. She is a licensed cosmetologist, was an educator for Aveda Institute Chicago, and owns and operates a hair studio in Wicker Park. While always having a love for education, she decided to attend The National Laser Institute to expand her skills and become a certified laser technician. She is very excited to be here at ALA and to share her knowledge with you.
